Hey, was wondering if someone can shed some light on this, only one of my keyfobs will start my car (05 seat altea) and it wont unlock it. The spare set won't work at all, so I need batteries for both and both recoded. Is their a DIY way of doing it.

Batteries replaced on one and working OK, just need to get the spare syncd with the car. Anyone know how to.

    - car is locked
    - unlock with normal key manually at drivers doorlock
    - IGN ON with normal key ... leave it there
    - use NEW remote key to lock the car manually at drivers doorlock
    - remove remote key from doorlock
    - press "lock" at the NEW key, indicator lights will flash
    - then hold the "unlock" für ~3 sec. and indicators will flash long and the doors should unlock
    - coding procedure should be successfully finished.
