    They are both pretty much the same efficiency.Which one would be more efficient in your boiler would depend on what boiler you have..

    Grant multipass -rdb 70/90 burner with LD3 combustion head
    0.75/60 degree eh nozzle @ 9.5 bar will give 90,000 btu

    what model of firebird 50/ 90.is it firebird "S" range popular

    riello G3B- T3 combustion head or RDB1-T3 combustion head .The newer type "S" range use a RDB 2.2-T3 combustion head
    If you are setting the boiler to 50,000 or 60,000 btu a T1 combustion head should be used

    Any burner fitted should be set up to the output required and set up with a flue gas analyser.A room test should be done for carbon monoxide when finished
