    Hi folks.
Anyone know about this furniture? I have an armchair and 3 seater. I'm wondering if it's actually worth anything? The label on the bottom is De Berk BV Vlarrdingen.

    Thats probably a retailers label.

The style is 1870 - timber mahogany. Could be Dutch .... Could be English but they are copying the French taste.
They were quite valuable once , however ...........

THis fella will last another 100 years once it manages to avoid human destruction

Thanks Diddley Squat. I've grown to really like it but I have a very young family. I have put it storage ( warm dry shed) to protect it from the kids. I have what I'm told is called a kings chair to match still in the corner of the sitting room so I might just pop that away to keep it in good nick until I decide what to do with them. Might stick em up on done deal and see if someone has a good home for them. Appreciate your help.
    RR.

    Thanks Ruth

The kids wont be able to break this :) It's safe to use , in fact if your storage gets damp then there is a possibility of w-worm getting in to the cheap timber in the carcass.

Nothing to worry about though - the mahog any is resistant , but if its walnut then its vunerable
