These marks on the bonnet are from a drip from the concrete roof of an underground carpark.

The streaks are quite raised and i was wondering if there is something i can use to remove it.The Bora is an 04 model.

I cant see photo but I would guess its lime or concrete.

Try a good tar glue remover is it really bad?

did someone use a brilo pad on that.

Even if you get that off you may have to machine polish the paint as it looks to be well damaged.

Have you tried a cloth soaked in vinegar?
leave it on it for a while and see if it wipes off easily.
    Do not scrub it.

Viniger ha that's new to me haha .. How much viniger is required like let your cloth soak in it and then leave the cloth on the damaged area for a few minutes is it ?
Will the viniger damage paint as in cut into your clear coat or anything like that or cause like a cloudy look on the paint vectra

No, It wont harm your paint.
Just pour some vinegar on a cloth ald lie it on the stain, check every few minutes to see if anything is happening, if nothing happens check every 10/15 minutes.
It most likely will need a poilsh afterwards as the limescale may have marked the paint. It might be no harm anyway as said above there are a lot of marks on the paint.

    White vinegar contains acetic acid.

Failing that you could chance some Cillit Bang limescale remover on a cotton bud and just dab the affected areas.

Did he use a scourer pad or brilo?

That will need a machine polish in the least.

I am not sure what he used but it looks like it was done by hand. This is what his car looked like 2 years ago after i did some detailing on it.

I am more upset than he is after all my hard work. This was my first attempt at detailing.
