I have my drivers license for almost 10 years now and never made a accident in any kind.
now my biggest challenge will start, driving on the complete opposite way of the road :o but still with LHD car instead of a Irish RHD, not that it will matter it's still against every I have driven before.

so... tips and tricks to survive UK and Dublin after it?

I know that this sounds stupid, but I have a simple line I use at junctions when driving in Poland:

    Left Cross, Right Don't Cross.

Like I said, I know it sounds daft, but it keeps things straight and I haven't ended up driving on the wrong side of the road yet! Of course it helps that I'm driving a left hand drive, so the other thing is to keep the steering wheel closer to the centre of the road.

For here the opposite line would apply; Right Cross, Left Don't Cross. And seeing as you're in a LHD car, you want to be sitting in the ditch!

I do think that you're more likely to drive on the wrong side in a LHD car though. Maybe one of those stickers they have on rental cars?

I don't think it's likely you will drive on the wrong side of the road at the beginning.
If it's going to happen, it's going to be much later - after few days or few weeks of driving here once you stop thinking about it.
    Happened to me few times...

More likely to happen out in the countryside IMO,,where there aren't any signs/other traffic
