    Anyone else kept awake by this helicopter for the past hour? They are really determined to locate someone by the sounds of things.

    Yes, its' been going for a couple of hours. 4 fire brigades at bridge. It looks very bad.

    Think its the rescue helicopter. Seems to be going up and down the Boyne. Headed off there and seems to be gone.

    There is a post about it on facebook seemingly a thirteen year old fell into the river.

    It was not a young person. It seems as if the person did not fall in accidentally but I don't want to say any more only it is so sad for the family.

    In fairness it is insensitive for a post to be complaining about the noise from a helicopter that is involved in a rescue mission nearby.

    Be it Garda or Coast guard helicopter, its there doing its job because someone is either a victim of crime or in serious distress and needing rescuing.
