I would like the Irish spelling for the name eve-een. What i have found so far is most people pronounce "Aoi" what i think is incorrectly as "ay".

Are any of the below spellings pronounced eve-een and is my fada placement correct?

    Éimhín
    Aoibhínn
    Aoibhéann

The second one. First is ave-een, third would be eve-ane, fada on the e makes it that.
Aoi is an uee sound, as in queen,

Major déjà vu with this - see this thread.

I suspect your Aoibhínn with the fada is correct. But Aoibhinn without the fada (Aoi as in Aoife) is given as the spelling by Ó Corráin & Maguire, p. 15 & Ó Muirithe, p. 7, both of whom give an anglicisation as 'Eavan' for that fadaless entity.

I don't think from listening to this that their 'inn' ending will give you your "een" sound at the end, however.

"ao" is in Munster dialect pronounced as "ay", in the others it's "ee", but "aoi" is pronounced in all the dialects as "ee" not as "ay" (if that's the ay in day).
