    Prologue:

"An expensive resturant in Dublin city centre. Four women, all workmates on a working holiday from their native Cork city, gathered around a fairly extravagant four-course meal with two bottles of red wine. Add in a fairly clumsy waitress, a few bad tempers and you can be assured that nothing will go right!

Karen sighed with contentment as she put her glass of wine back down on the table.

She could still feel the wine as it ran like a chocolate river down her throat. She smiled.

"This resturant was certainly a really good idea." Andrea remarked.

"Yes. It's not bad at all isn it?" agreed Michelle. "The best resturant I've been to in a long time."

    But not everyone was happy.

Shirley kept constantly moving the spoon in amongst her vegetable soup.

"Pitty they didn't have any chicken soup." she moaned.

"Oh goodness me! Not this again!" Michelle spat from across the table.

"Why? What's wrong with it?!" snapped Shirley.

    Michelle put her spoon down.

"Because you're always moaning and complaining about something or other Shirley. Don't you think that you could give it a rest for just one night?!"

"Typical of you Michelle! You're always telling me what and what-not to do! I don't need a bloody chaperone!"

Just when it seemed like things were about to get pretty nasty, a waitress appeared carrying a large tray of soup.

"Oh no!" exclaimed Andrea. "It's Siobhan!"

"Not Siobhan! The clumsiest waitress in town!" Michelle exhaled rather heavily. "Now we're in trouble!"

    And she was right.

Siobhan Casey was known for having a reputation for unbelievable clumsiness. This was the last thing the four women needed. They had all gone to secondary school with Siobhan and knew how awkward and accident-prone she was.

As she approached the group, all four women felt an extremely deep sense of dread. They all knew exactly what was coming next.

Suddenly there was a yelp from Siobhan as she tripped over her shoe laces. The tray she was carrying went flying out of her hands.

    "Splat!! Squelch!!"

Andrea and Karen both jerked back as hot soup splattered all over their tops, both letting out some fairly foul profanities. Unfortunately for Shirley, Andrea's hand hit Michelle just as she was about to take another sip of her glass of red wine.

"Oh thanks Andrea!" Michelle exclaimed as the red wine stained her top.

    Then came the food!

As Andrea and Karen both jerked back, their legs hit the table quite hard sending food sliding off it and all over their beautiful skirts.

Karen immediately tried to cover the stain but Andrea just simply threw her hands up in the air and cursed.

Siobhan picked herself up and tried to make sense of everthing that had happened. It was only then that she became aware of the carnage that had been caused."

I know this a little bit flat and thin on the ground at the moment but there is more to come soon!

Why would Siobhan be bringing more soup to the group when at least two of the four (Michelle and Shirley) have already started their soup? Why would it be a different waitress coming to serve them as you imply? Still no spellcheck...etc. Sorry but you did ask.

Seperate idea. Am developing the tent one a bit more thoroughly and will put up a new draft soon.
