I'm trying to backup my HTC One M7 but its causing my problems. Mainly I'm only concerned about my photos. Usually I connect my phone to my pc via usb, go into the DCIM folder and I can copy and paste my photos onto my pc. FOr some reason how I go into DCIM, most of the folders I would expect are there, but they are empty - or just have a few photos. Not 100's like on my phone.

I tried copying all folders but it says its going to take 29 hours, and if I leave it - it just fails. I even tried using MyBackupPro but it doent work. CAnt find the backup on my phone dispite changing folders.

I cannot understand it - can anyone advise?

For your photos, I would recommend opening a dropbox account and they will always be backup to there. It's what I used on my M7.
For settings , contacts etc, they should all be backed up to Google or use the HTC backup service which is very good.
