Hoping to move towards a DP role in the coming years. Have started researching the various courses and they're all very different. Can any DPs advise on whether an M.Ed is necessary or a Postgrad Diploma in Education? The PDST run a leadership course in my town but I am not sure if it's sufficient. Is there anything else I should be doing to further myself. I am already involved in my subject association and don't want to be involved in new J.Certificate with NCCA until we know what's going on. I am involved with literacy and committees in my school. Any advice would be very welcome.
