I have had a Kranzel power washer for the last 20 years but unfortunately it has packed it in so I am on the lookout for a new cold water electric power washer of similar nature. Anyone bought one recently that they would recommend, I need it for general farm use and hopefully within the €500-600 price range.

the kranzle washer are nearly the best of the electric ones.
theyre around 900 euro.the hose on them doesnt last very long but you can get 3/8 inch hydraulic hose which fits easily and will last

Thanks, it would be pricey enough but in fairness the one we had cost around 600 pound 20 years ago so I cant really complain!!

Would one with a petrol engine be much cheaper?

I could get a bating for this but anyway.....
Karcher do both professional ones and heavy duty ones.
    I've a K4 and happy with it.

Nah, think mines a 9 or 10 hp, you need that...and 10 m of hose would just drive you cracked..I never saw any bargains by that crowd, Google what you need, buy from a washer specialist if you can.

Bought a second-hand Honda 13hp with an inter pump 15 years ago, apart from oil changes and about 4 turbo nozzles,no trouble with it! She's opened up to 1500psi and gets a run at least once a week!
