Upper age limits

Hi lads can I just ask a potentially very stupid question? Are the upper age limits strictly adhered to in the recruitment process or have you ever heard of exceptions being made? I've always been interested in a cadetship but I've never had the relevant educational requirement. A few years ago I went back to education by night and now have what is needed educationally but unfortunately I'm over the age limit. I reckon I know the answer already but I'm asking in hope more than anything else haha thanks lads

There are different rules for Direct Entry Officers but not for cadetships. Sorry mate, looks like you have missed the boat.
