going anonymous for obvious reasons. Im uncircumcised and have sensitivity around the tip of my penis for as long as i can remember. Posting this here as i'm pretty sure it doesn't constitute as medical advice..

it usually gets extremely sensitive just below the head where the foreskin gets pulled back. I am wondering if there are any other guys who also experiences and knows of any way to reduce this?

OK folks you know the drill, NO medical advice. BTW PS I snipped the last sentence because it was skirting the med advice bit.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

    Plenty of masturbation reduces sensitivity.

Stick on 5-6 condoms which will reduce the sensitivity, use benzocaine condoms also.

I can't fathom why anyone would want to reduce the sensitivity of their penis.

I'd say for the OP, the sensitivity might be quite extreme and possibly painful.

That's it in a nutshell. I've often found that during blow jobs especially, it can get tingly to the point of pain, where I would have to stop them.

Well, what normally happens is that the most the glans gets stimulated, the least it becomes receptive.

Now, the reason for your extreme sensitivity might be various - usually, this happens to men with foreskin retraction issues, like phimosis, as the glans simply stays protected and "out of harm's way" all the time.

It was the case for me - when I finally had my operation, a few years ago, the 3-4 weeks afterwards were...quite something. Then the whole "contraption" got used to the friction, and didn't have a single issue since.

In your case, you might want to try starting stimulating your glans more. If your foreskin retracts normally with no tightness at all, maybe keep it that way for an hour or so a day; just make sure it doesn't tighten and create a swelling. Also, my guess is that your sensitivity keeps you from manipulation during day-to-day cleaning operations (the good old "pour water on it!" approach); Try forcing yourself to actually touch the sensitive part while washing, and then drying.

Lastly, you might also want to touch more there while you...how to say, sort yourself out!

If nothing improves, I'd say ask your GP - don't worry, he/she will have heard about this kind of stuff a bazillion times before :)

Spastic Cinnamon, let's dial it back. Be helpful or don't post. Thanks.

I'd second what H3llR4iser advised you OP. Could be a retraction issue like Phimosis but a GP will have a better clue once you explain the problem to them, that's what they are there for. If its restricting your own enjoyment then the professional GP is the best point of call. Its not an uncommon issue and they'll have the proper advice on your best way to proceed.

You can consider skin creams. Like have seen cream that is focus on skin sensitivity. You could make a store visit or just google " mild action skin sensitivity scream".
