Just any info on a Freeview installer for Cork City area? This seems to be a good bet www.freesat.ie or is there a Cork based installer? I need the dish/box and install obviously.

One of the forum's regular contributors, Rippy, I believe is from Signal Solutions. From posts here they appear to be well regarded in the Cork area.

See the Freesat website for the list of available Freesat receivers, they come in single tuner zapper versions and twin tuner recorders. Some installers will pass off a basic FTA satellite receiver or used Sky box as a Freesat receiver, a Freesat receiver carries the Freesat logo.

Thanks for the replies i didn't realize the how poor the channel line up is albeit free of course. I wanted to ditch a second UPC box to save €11 from my monthly bill and maybe loose there TV all together. But the thought of a dish and that channel line is a turn off. Might just get rid of the second box and use Kodi for things lot cheaper as well. Its my understanding that you can have a 1m dish size without any legal hassle residential wise just off topic?
