Test in Louth but Instructor in Dublin

    Hi,

I recently failed my driving test and my new plan is:

Get 2 x lessons a week for three weeks in Dublin (where I work).

Practice at home in Dundalk at the weekends and do the test in Dundalk.

What do people think of this plan? The obvious problem for me is I will be getting the lessons in a different car to my own. Also I will be doing the test in a different town to where I got the lessons.

I think this is the best feasible plan for me but do people think it's a bad idea to do lessons in a different car to your test?

Why dont you do your lessons in Dundalk on the weekends in your car?

IMHO it would be more reasonable to do lessons in Dundalk. I do not live in Dundalk but once I decided to sit my test there I had to travel there for the lessons. I found those lessons "on location" extremely helpful.
