Video games live is happening this Saturday in the Dublin convention centre. If you use the code "Herald" at the checkout, you get €20 off any ticket price, so the cheapest ticket you could get only is €23.50 (incl. booking fee) which seems like a very good price.

I really wanted to go this but was put off their initially high ticket prices. I did see that they went down during the week but was still on the fence... With this discount it's a no brainer. Really looking forward to it now.

They played One Winged Angel at their 2009 show so if they're only taking one track from a given series you may end up with no FF7. Don't let that put you off though, I was at a concert before Christmas featuring video game music. I went for the FF arrangements but came away loving the music from Journey, which I've never played before.

Perhaps. People at the festival were treated to Triforce Quartet's take on FF music today and yesterday so I won't be too disappointed if Tommy & co don't play any.Having seen who's around and who's involved in this event it's sure to be pretty damn great either way and with the 20 quid discount it's a bargain

Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn can't believe I never seen this 3 days of stuff that'll probably never be here again! I can't believe they don't have anything on saturday except the vgl! Wish I knew about this sooner ffs. I'd actually loved to have seen the artists gallery. Guess I'll just have to stick to deviant art for now :P

I bought the €43 ticket (down to €23 with OP's voucher) and when I arrived last night, they'd run out of tier 4 wristbands so I was given a tier 1 wristband instead and got to sit more or less at the front for the whole thing, which was brilliant.

Great concert indeed. The only flaw was that they threw in way too much World of Warcraft stuff. Not surprising, since Blizzard was involved so heavily in it, but it looked to me like "listen to the great soundtrack of this new expansion that you can buy now!"

Clarification: I don't particularly like WoW, which didn't help either.

Enjoyed it myself greatly, loved the wow bits too as a fan. Was to be expected as one of the key organizers was a blizzard employee who did the sountracks to the newer expansions.
