think its actually too sterile for me...the bezel needs something...i think a Sinn 857 would be something I'd prefer in this style but would imagine not for same price as the Stowa
The 556 is probably more in this price range and edges it for me (slightly smaller though)

It's nice but if I wanted that style of watch I'd buy a Sinn or a Damasko. Similarly I wouldn't buy a traditional B-Uhr-style watch from either of the other two manufacturers.

I love stowa, one of my fav brands. Their fliegers and marine watches are some of the best in their genre, in fact id pick the stowa flieger over an IWC or many others at many times the price.

Outside of these two styles though, i find stowa quite unimaginative.
E.g this watch is way to similar to damasko, but without the cool ice hardened case.

Partitio is heavily influenced by the nomos club, antea is heavily influenced by others in the nomos collection.

As mentioned, this is at best a damasko homage, without some of the cool damasko engineering.

Id skip this and go straight for the damasko. The damasko looks better also, something about the bezel on this that makes it look like one of those seiko skx007's modified to look like a sinn.

    Hi all

Great comments, I was hoping for more from Stowa, I did raise this in another thread about Stowa becoming a bit stale.

I Do like their watches, but for the price of them, your are in the same area as used Omegas and the likes.

Pity, as I am looking for something and thought they might have it, a Speedy Racing is looking really good to me ot a Tutima

The price is not the issue at all, its just in this case of the T02, the styling is that of a watch in exactly the same price bracket, so why go for an homage when for almost no extra money you can have the genuine article.

Id still pick a stowa over a used omega if the style was something i was looking for.

But If what you want is a speedy then get a speedy. Theres nothing of that styling in the stowa line up anyway so pointless to even look at stowa doe that kind of watch.
