Tara to Dunamase

    Are these hills in direct line of sight of each other?
    Tara has its myths as to how far one can see from there but the Wicklow mountains are clearly visable from Dunamase so with that kind of distance Tara must be clearly visable too?

    Hope this is not the wrong section

    Do you mean the Rock of Dunamase? I visitied there only recently and was well impressed - kind of a miniture rock of cashel but in a more ruinious state.

    I'd doubt you could see the hill of tara from it - I seem to remember that tara is pretty low. Tara hill in wexford is a much more prominent hilly feature but I doubt you can see it from Dunamanse - I suspect the wicklows would be in the way.
