    Hi,

Im looking for a pair of shorts in Dublin City centre, anyone have any recommendations on shops?

One thing that is essential is pockets, pockets, pockets.

Also looking for sensible prices also, something about spending 70euro+ on shorts really irks me.

    Thanks guys.

Probably better suited to the Gear & Equipment forum, but some suggestions:
    Elverys
    TK Maxx
    Amphibian King
    The Run Hub
    Runways

These North Face ones arent cheap but they have loads of pockets.

    http://www.thenorthface.ie/tnf-ie-en/men-better-than-naked-long-haul-shorts/p110444.html

Zipper on back for keys or phone (Galaxy S4 fits) . Stretch pockets on either side. Had a windproof jacket in there.

The built in compression shorts also have pockets on either leg. I had 2 gels on 1 leg and a bar and phone on the other leg. Contents didnt bounce out either.

TNFSTICKER10 will give you 10% off. Free delivery :-)

I've heard great thing about them alright. Can i ask, how tight are the side pockets? Like if you had anything in them, would you be worried of losing it?

They are designed to stretch so ideal for gloves or a light windproof jacket. They aren't super tight and there's no seal so you wouldn't be putting keys or money in there. Gels/fruit etc. should be fine.

The handiest thing for me was the pocket on the leg for my phone and earphones coming out of them.

Phone would also fit in back zipped pocket. Harder to access but safer

Probably not the standard first thought but I got some shorts in Penny's that suit me perfectly - might be worth a glance if you're passing by.

    You want these - http://www.ronhill.com/trail-fuel-twin-short

More pockets than a pair of combats. The bag zip pocket will fit a jacket, there's gel loops, water pouch pockets. Ooodles of storage.

    The bane of my life.

I have a pair of Sergio Tacchinis that are about 5 years old and perfect, very light, quickly drying, and two pockets on either side with zips. Nothing I have seen since comes near, even if they have the side pockets with zips - which few do - they are too long, or a heavier material.
