    Thread title disappoints
Was expecting some Cork man with feelings of inadequacy, having a go at the real capital.

I was expecting a better headline.

I presume they have a sinking fund to pay for the repairs.

Sure those loads of those and vice versa.

Bord Failte should work with this one, Dublin could have its own version of the Paris Catacombs, the Dublin Hooker holes !

I did a walk through Dublin's sewer systems a couple of years ago with a sanitation engineer as part of a health & safety study group.

You'd be amazed at the network of subterranean tunnels running under our city, very much akin to the Paris catacombs.

There's no running water and internet in Cork.

Are sinkholes not purely geological phenomena?

This is just a case of a road having been built over a cellar without the proper structural support.

Not sure, but they'll have it taxed by the end of the week.

Was your bathroom in the newspaper?

I heard they filled it in with concrete. What a waste, a pedestrian tunnel under the street would be handy around there.

I walked by it last night at about 11.30, much hilarity, selfies, goofing around, photos, videoing going on. Tourists, two Gardai, some internationals, Dubs, Galwegians, Corkonians etc.. having the craic after some food and a few scoops (not the Gardai:))

Around the same time you were typing your silly little post in your bedroom in your ma's house. ;)

My "silly little post" obviously got your back up :pac: Dublin really must be some ****hole if taking selfies in front of a hole in the ground is what you do on a night out.

Well if the Spire is Ireland's cock then it should be expected that we find a hole not far from it.

A phallic symbol? Is that why country girls are so attracted to Dublin and Dublin lads? Interesting point. ;)
