Do Irish (or any) credit cards offer free car rental insurance?

Reading up on car rental today as a novice, it seems that lots of credit cards do, or at least did, offer free car rental insurance so that I don't have to pay for insurance when I rent my car? Is this the case with any Irish or UK credit cards?
