EPC3925 + Belkin Router Problems

    Hey guys.

I need some advice, I've been at this for a few hours and could not get anywhere.

I want to use my Belkin f5d8236-4 router instead of my EPC3925.

    This is what I did:

    - Hardwired laptop into EPC3925
    - Logged into my EPC3925
    - Turned on bridge mode
    - Disconnected Laptop

    Then I did this:

    - Connected my EPC3925 into the yellow "MODEM" slot of my Belkin Router

No web connection shown on my Belkin Router.

    Then I did this:

    - Connected Laptop to Belkin Router
    - Logged into my Belkin Router.

Not sure how to progress from here. I tried changing it to "Static IP" connection type but I don't know what to put into the following:

    "IP Address"
    "Subnet Mask"
"ISP Gateway IP" <- No idea what this is.

I'm not even sure if it needs to be Static IP type to be honest.

Any advice? Currently running on the EPC3925 and the wireless range is just not enough.

I read somewhere that the Belkin router needs to be set to PPoE? Is this true?

    ==Before all this==

I originally had this set up so that the belkin was acting as a sort of "wireless extender" for the EPC modem. That worked fantastically fine for ages. We would connect to the belkin router and it worked away.
Lately, our wireless connnections were dropping constantly and having issues so I went fiddling with everything and can't remember how I originally set it up.

    I also found this:
    *can't post url*
It says I need a hostname for "Dynamic IP" wouldn't know what to enter in there.

Everything works now. No idea why...

Left my Belkin router off overnight. Has my 3925 back in router mode which I (just about) used over night.
Said I'd give it another crack this morning.

    Turned on bridge mode.
Went to wireless settings, set to channel 6, turned off wireless (under radio tab).

    Turned on router.
    Connected router to modem.

Magically worked. I feel like I did that last night 100 times...
