I'm interested to know if anyone has installed false wood beams in their house. I came across this site (no connection) which gives some good ideas like this. I suppose a good chippy could also construct on site? Also, if all services like HRV and electrical cables could be tucked into these beams, then how tight could the…

Also, if all services like HRV and electrical cables could be tucked into these beams, then how tight could the plasterboard be kept to the underside of the 1st floor concrete slab?
