    Hi all,

I was just doing an essay concerning Consumerism (based on Bauman's literature) and I was wondering how I would go about critiquing his work that consumer society is a divided society, with repressed and seduced consumers? There is an incredibly limited set of academic literature to talk about this point and was looking for some opinions/guidance.
