Travelling to Brussels and Bruges

    Hi All,

    I am planning a long weekend to Brussels and Bruges.
    Is it possible to get a bus from Brussels to Bruges as I'm not a fan of trains.
    Also, I am flying into Brussels Airport (Zaventem), should I get a taxi or bus from the airport to Belgium city centre?

    We're just back from Bruges, haven't heard (or seen) of any buses but the trains are great and very straightforward. On the way to Bruges we took a train to Brussels Midi and then to Bruges and on the way back we took a direct train Bruges-brussels airport, takes about 1.5 hours. The train station is very accessible from the airport, just take a lift to -1 level. You buy your tickets there, no need to buy online. Everybody speaks English and are very helpful, we had no problems whatsoever travelling by train.

    Normal way to travel from BRU airport to Bruss city centre is by train.

    Bruss to Bruges is about 1 hour by train.

    There aren't national bus services in many European countries, they aren't allowed.
