Cant get insurance without a licence?

    I went to the NDLS centre yesterday and got my provisional licence. I'm planning on getting insured as a named driver but I believe you need to send a photocopy of your license. Because mine will take up to 15 days can I give them my driver number that I got on the receipt from the NDLS centre?

    No you must wait for your license.

    It shouldn't take that long hopefully, you will have plenty of time to learn and practise when you have it in hand.
