I've never told this story before.

I have actually met the citizen in real life.

I think it was in a Spar, if I recall the one on the corner of George's Street in Dublin.

He was someone I'd been hanging out with all night, a friend of a friend. End of the night, he says "You're Doom on boards, yes? You might know me. As the citizen".

Then he actually walks off as I stand stunned.
