DIY Zipp 404 11 speed upgrade

Maybe I'm missing something here but I'm sure its possible to mill 2mm off back of the cassette body to accommodate 11 speed cassette. Then just use spacer for 10 speed cassette. No re-dishing necessary. Has anyone done this before?

I'd be concerned about the inward position of that innermost cog meaning that the chain and jockey wheels would be too close to the spokes, but you'll know if that's an issue as soon as you fit it all together.

Something harder to gauge is whether the strength of the freehub is compromised. 2mm isn't a lot of metal, in theory, but it entirely depends on how the freehub is designed, maybe the tolerances were already quite fine to start with.
