    anyone buy one of these, need a new training bike, 1k is the spend, this fits the bill better than second hand carbon - any feedback? I'm sure someone will mention Planet X, but pretty much decided its going to be the Canyon - the discipline required will be to limit to the 1k,and not look at carbon versions, but on a budget

    Haven't seen one of those enduraces but have yet to see any canyon bike that I wasn't deeply impressed by.

    Don't know what canyon's delivery times are like on the Alu Enduraces but if you were looking for an alternative, I rode one of these as a hire bike on Spain last back end (mine was the 5700 version), impressive bit of kit for the money.

    Also check out rose bikes. Similar specs and prices except more customisation of stem lengths, cranks, bar widths etc...
