Hi all, I'm looking for a new bike.
I wanted to go second hand as my budget is low. I was looking on donedeal and found this http://www.donedeal.ie/bicycles-for-sale/giant-defy/8985559?offset=1 . By the looks of it its a good bike, it has tiagra gears and its not that heavy. Its also quite cheap. I was just looking for someone elses opinion on it.
    thanks.

Looks ok and a popular brand, if it's in good condition with not much use as stated. Older tiagra has 9 speed whereas newer one is 10 speed. If older / nine speed you could argue for a bit of a reduction.
Either way, take it for a good trial spin to se how it feels / fits.

    Nice bike, a bit overpriced.

What would be a reasonable price for the bike?

    I wouldn't feel robbed paying 500.

I'd go and see the bike and if you like it wave €400 under the sellers nose and work from there. I wouldn't go past €450.

10spd Tiagra is a good groupset and the bike looks well looked after (or possibly used very little) so if you can get it for 450 or under you'll be doing well.
