reduction auction

    hi all

    i'm having a reduction sale of some cows, heifers etc and i was wondering if anyone has any advice on good websites to advertise, i want to try and get as many people to the auction as possible.
    my stock is a mix of pure bred friesians and jerseys

    Be sure your insurance policy covers it, some smartarses could have themselves a slip and fall and hit you with a claim. :rolleyes:
    Lads around me held one a while back, and they got local auctioneer to run it, and they advertised it in the mart in advance

    You could stick an ad on Donedeal with a few decent pics for a start. The marts in my area also have an ad in the local paper advertising such sales on their premises.

    Done deal and the journal and an add in the mart in question.

    Unless lads are living under a rock theyll see one or the other of them.
