    hi all im wondering does anyone out there no how long the gards have in relation to issuing you with a summons.cant find any info on the web.just a load of different answers. is there even a time frame. its been nearly 20 months now and im still waiting

    It depends of the offence. Try having a quick word with someone at FLAC. Obviously if you've been dodging it the situation may be different.

    na not dodging it atall but its going on so long now im wondering if its coming atall and if it does will it b 2 late.whats the flac

    For summary matters District Court, they have to request the summons be issued within 6 months, (certain longer time limits apply by statute. They can serve the summons at any time, within reason. For Serious matter in other words tried in Circuit Court they have as long as they want again delay could become an issue.
