Lidl (non-retail) Jobs

There's an advertisement online for a 'Junior Site Acquisition Manager' - which suits someone with a property background. I've been in touch with the recruitment agent and the job is with Lidl - sourcing and evaluating new sites for new stores etc.

I've heard (and read online) some anecdotes about them 'working you to the bone' and 'regular 80-hour weeks' and other types of rants. But I've never had it from the horses mouth so to speak.

Now, while I am interested in the above job, I do also value family time more than any potential salary. I want to see my wife & child as much as possible.

Have any members here worked for Lidl / currently work for Lidl in a role similar to this?

I'd love some insight on what they are actually like to work for.

    Thanks in advance!

Head office jobs are not like the retail jobs, it's a little more 9-5 (but not actually 9-5) you'll be well paid
