In addition, am a bit puzzled by two of the requirements for planning exempt domestic installs.

    2. The distance between the plane of the wall or a pitched roof and the panel shall not exceed 15 centimetres.

To what does the wall refer?

    3. The distance between the plane of a flat roof and the panel shall not exceed 50 centimetres.

Is this to stop tilted installs on flat roofs?

    Thanks

    2. it refers to a situation where a panel is installed on a wall, so 15 cm max from the face to the wall to the panel.

    3. 50 cm still allows for a significant tilt on a flat roof ie that would be 27 degrees on a 1.0 m run

    Much obliged, as always.
Have you seen PV on (vertical) walls?

Can anyone provide a link, like the one below, for other towns/counties especially near Cork as its the "live" Solar radiation that I'm interested in.
    Thanks.
