Hey everyone. Looking for some advice on pouring a rebated concrete base for a steel shed. Having it rebated prevents rainwater from being blown back in at the bottom if it was just on a flat base.

That's not too difficult. It's a two person job as you'll need one on each end of the screed.
Have you hot sizes etc. I'd suggest you keep the raised section at least 60 to 70 mm to prevent any water ingress. You will need to include an pathway of about 600 mm all around the shed. don't forget a duct for any cables etc for lighting. Using the inside measurements of the shed. Set timber screeds to suit the finished floor levels. you can use stakes or steel angle into the ground to carry the screeds. You can also set out screeds for the lower level allowing for a slight fall so as it doesn't hold rainwater around the shed. Pour the centre of the screeds first. Use a straight edge to pull and level the cement floor to the required finish. Then pour the outside to the finished level.
you can use a Trowel to finish if you want a fine finish.
I hope you can follow this ok if you have any questions just come back.
