I'm starting in a couple of weeks on a temporary basis but I'm unsure what to expect..

Is it stressful? Is the pace quick or easy-going? What is worn while working there (top and bottom) and is there anything I should be aware of?

    Hi Phoenix Wright,

Congrats on getting a job in Musgraves.
What depot are you going to start in Dublin Cork or Kilcock?
I have worked in one of their depots as a driver for the past number of yrs.
Good company to work for provide uniform and good sick pay scheme, shifts can be hard to get used to at the start. The pace is fairly fast especially if you are picking orders. There could be anything up to 120K cases to be picked for delivery next day.
    Best of luck.

Hi 5th wheel, I appreciate your response. I'm actually starting in a Marketplace as opposed to a depot soon and have gone through induction. Seems a good place in fairness, looking forward to starting. I just don't have a clue what to wear on my first day. Everyone seems to wear hi-viz clothing but it's what to wear underneath it is causing me the hassle! Does it get busier throughout the summer or is it pretty much consistent throughout the year?

I'll be working at the Limerick marketplace. Is there anything I should brace myself for? :)

I didn't work there, but if it's anything like the rest of them there's nothing to be concerned about

My only experience of the Musgrave was working with some guys who used to do their IT in the shops and they were really well looked after, I was working for a company that they subcontracted IT work to and our salary package was a long way behind them.
That was back in 2009 I left so I don't know how the rescission affected them but not too bad I'd say, after all they did buy superquinn
