Looking for a bigger car. 2nd baby coming in June. I'm looking for a 2ltr 140 something.

Is there still value to in going to England with the £ rate, or is it better to shop at home?

i honestly believe that a lot of people that are still getting cars in england are doing so to get a higher spec and better looked after car. Ther.e is a fear of getting a clocked car from england as well

The problem with buying locally is a hell of a lot of dealers are importing the cars from england themselves so eithre way you are ending up with an english car. The only advantage is getting a warranty with the local car.

The exchange rate has made english cars expensive.
If i was buying i would wait for a few months and see it the exchange rate recovers a bit

There are cheaper ones out there considering the mileage
but if it had a full service history i wouldnt mind the mileage too much.
20k miles a year means motorway driving which wouldnt be too hard on a car.
Also without sounding odd , the car probably isnt clocked.
    Its fully loaded .
Things i would watch out for though, the timing belt is due, if the flywheel isnt done , it should be due to wear out soon.
