I've recently got a part time job at a busy hotel. I can only work 20 hours a week as I'm on disability, my boss is aware of this. I get on very well with management and work hard to which they have acknowledged. It's minimum wage obviously. However I'm required to work from 11pm until 8 am as night porter maybe once or twice a week. I've just done two nights in a row and feel absolutely wrecked which is draining me health wise and I'm nervous of getting run down. The manager now wants to train me in as a waiter which I would be more than delighted to do. My issue is though, I really don't like the night shift but I'm worried that if I tell them this then they could sack me?

You won't be doing a night shift as a waiter though.

I would not say a word and do the waiter training as your ticket out of there, if you can stick it
