Karcher K5 pressure washer in B&Q

    I picked this up today in B&Q in Liffey Valley. Was 520 euro now 279 euro and is 429 in woodies.

    Just make sure to either store it indoor away from freezing temperatures or drain it after use. I had one for like ten years and we forgot to drain it and it froze. The whole thing get destroyed

    From the pic on the homepage, it has the high pressure lance and the patio cleaner.

    This is a brilliant price for this as its currently £349.99 on amazon uk!

    Anyone thinking of getting it though, keep the filter cap in place on the water intake (from hose/tap) as if any little debris like a stone gets into the impeller housing it will break the impellers. Also like hfallada says... drain it completely over periods of non use/winter and it will last for ever.

    Just please be aware that B&Q sells the Karcher K5 premium pressure washer not the Karcher K5 premium ECO home pressure washer that Amazon sells for £349.99. Nearly bought it today but changed my mind after.

    Amazon had that up for £220 in the daily deals yesterday, worth keeping an eye on as its come up a few times if ur looking for one.
