    Hi Lads,
Bought a new tank lately, one of the enclosed types and am getting frustrated that I cant look into it to see how many litres are in there etc.

Anyone on her ever install a meter on your milk line to see how much milk is exactly in the tank?

you could be able to weigh the tank
    use load cells or something

advantage : accurate enough, not touching the milk, can put the display anywhere

disadvantages : leccy stuff getting powerhosed , corrosion, cracks etc

ask someone that works with them

No you won't find one accurate enough to get within 10-15% of your collected ltrs. Only way is a flow meter which will give greater accuracy or as said before weight,
Best thing is dont worry what's inside in it just concentrate on getting the cows right n milking as much as possible n tha tank will take care of itself
