Why on earth was Graham Dwyer's Kerrymount Close, Foxrock, address mentioned in every news story? Is it a posh area, if he were from Finglas or Tallaght or Rathgar would it be mentioned, what's the story?

your sister site The Journal is now allowing comments on their articles, so they don't agree with you re:contempt.

if you read the language in the likes of the indo online now, you can see what they have been wanting to say for the last couple of months, the vitriol. I'd say putting his name there was the most they could do, to try and make us hate him(building this image of him as a posh upper class bloke, easy to hate for the tabloid audience).

They always mention the address or lack of registered address if people accused or convicted. It's really strange, they don't do it in Britain that I can recall. The local papers print the full addresses of people convicted of minor offences like not paying parking fines. Bizarre

Most cases reported in the media give the address of the accused.

dunno why boards blocked discussion on this.
he is guilty - the only sentence is life , the judge has no discretion on this.

He's just been found guilty, so his address will be changing.

Is boards saying that it will not allow any discussion of this case until after April 20 next when Dwyer is sentenced? strange.

MOD: As per the sticky at the top of the forum( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057404395 ), Boards doesn't allow discussion of cases that are still before the courts.
