Good quality Torch

Can anybody recommend a good torch that can be scope mounted? There are so many torches out there currently but its hard to evaluate how good they are without seeing them which is not possible.

Something like this but maybe a little less expensive:

    http://www.sportsden.ie/night-master-800.html

The ideal torch for me would be one that shows a spot only, I don't want a flood of light illuminating everything between the spot & myself.
A lot of torch manufacturers quote distances of up to 500m - is this realistic.
I want it for my 0.17 so anything that shows a clear spot at 100-150m would be sufficient.

    Thanks for reading.

I got that Nightmaster 800 for €135 with IR pill from derelight.com
That was the full setup with 2 batteries, charger, extension tube.

I can't say how well it is as I only have the IR version and can't see if it goes out to 500/600y.

like clive1 i also got the nm 800 full set up off same site in white light, i also have a led lenser x7. the nm800 will shine
a lot further, and the spot is about half the size of the x7.

I have always used Surefire torches from the U.S. they are amazing lights small strong and excellent out to 200 yards battery life is out of this world I only change batteries maybe twice a year and that includes using them for work.
I have tried all sorts over the years and could never compare anything to them BUT if you want a cheap light even as a back up and are any way near Tallaght a company called http://www.demesne.ie/ do a small torch for under 20 euro I think its the best value for money lamp you will get, you can buy a mount in any gun shor to fit it to your rifle.
As a matter of fact a certain gun shop in Tallaght are selling them at a marked up price so walk around the corner and get a bargain.
