    Hi all,

Im looking for some advice. I'm currently a student working in a retail shop part time, usually 3 hours a shift(sometimes 6 hours) and three days/shifts a week on a thursday/friday and saturday and sunday.

I am going on a paid internship for 5 months this summer. The internship is full time. I can fit the part time job into the schedule.
I am wondering is it a good idea to keep both. I do live at home in galway in my family.

I would really appreciate any advice.
    thanks
    Daniel

If it was me, I would probably step down from the part-time role and let someone else gain some experience from those few hours a week.
Plus, depending on the company you're interning with, they may not be happy with you taking on hours around them..maybe try discuss it with your current employer, and see if they'd be open to taking you back on after the internship.
