    Hi All,

I know it might sound like a stupid question, but I hope it isn't:D

My current policy started at 5:00 am on 28/03/14 and ends on 27/03/15 (as printed on the certificate).

Some insurers ask what time do you want your policy to start, and other ask for a date only.

Should I pick 28/03 or 27/03 as a start date in this scenario?

I know it is very unlikely but which insurer would I have to deal with on 27/03 in case of accident.

Another question would be which one would have to be called if I had an accident at 5:00am and my new policy would start at the same time my old one expired:confused:

Not that I am looking to crash into something soon but only realised now that there is a specified time on the cert.

Looks like specified time applies to start of policy only.
If it says it's valid until 27/3/2015 then it means it's valid until end of that day.
So you need to buy new policy from hour 0:00 on 28/3/2015

    This makes sense.

Should ask for a refund for unused 5 hours:D

    Thanks.
