We had a VAX once, terrible yoke they always seem to be on sale/discount too (like that sofa place).

It was an older version of the compact orange ones with fancy triple filters, but they all got bunged up easily, overheated lots and lost all power, very tricky to clean also. More filters means more hassle.

Switched back to Paper bag one which always has great power.
A Dyson or something fancier should decent though.

Nope. The vax sale only deliver to Mainland UK. Parcel Motel only have an address in the north so no use. Anyone know of similiar companys who can get this delivered to Ireland?

Had a vax, bought it a couple of years ago in Powercity, cant remember name of it but was standard non-bag version, had a booster button on it you slide across. done a great job for 4-5 years at least without any issue. All wooden floors. Only swapped as wife wanted a Dyson so we bought one.....

I bought the standup one, link below. It was for my mother, she has lots of carpets and had older dyson(about 6-8 years old). I was amazed how much dirt it pulled from carpet compared to the dyson.....the bag is tiny was issue....every room took 2 empty's :) on first run....

I went to place an order and when I put in the Postcode it gave me a list of addresses of which Parcel Motel was one. Then got an error message that this was outside the delivery area. I entered the address manually and that was successful, however when I went to put in billing details you can only use a UK address

If it's oversize then you will get an email/text from them when they have it processed and you can elect to pick it up from a depot (€7 I think) or they will deliver it to your house for something like €12.50 depending on the size of packet...

When you signed op to parcel Motel there should have been an option to either register a credit card which would automatically deduct the fee when the parcel is received or you could choose not to register a card and use the top up option which is prepaid, i think there is a minimum top up amount of 3 stays but not sure on that
