I've been using this today, really happy with it. The review saying the unit is slow to respond doesn't make sense to me, maybe there was a firmware update since or something, as it seems to be near instant to me (Takes a few seconds when connecting to the network but that's as bad as it got for me.

A couple of things that might be useful, copy of the manual in English is here (It comes with manual in 4 different languages, but not English):

To get the Networking set up, you will need to download 2 separate apps. NS Setup and Network Audio Remote. The first is only used once to set up the Wifi connection, the second app. allows access to your home network and also Internet radio (Which works better than I thought it would).

You can connect directly to the network if you have WPS.

press the options botton on the remote and arrow down until WPS is on the display.
Press the central select button and again for OK. It should start flashing. Press the WPS button on your router. Connecting should be on the display of the Sony and after about 20s you are connected.

There must have been an update as the response times are excellent.
DAB is excellent as well. I am in Cork city and other devices have poor reception compared to this.
My top bargain so far this year.
