    Not sure if I'm in the right thread here. Buying an xbox of adverts off a lad, paying by paypal. If there is something wrong with it or anything what can I do? He's in cavan im in kerry so no chance of viewing.

    You have no legal protection if you're buying from a private seller instead of a business so you're basically relying on whatever applicable dispute process, if any, that Paypal / Adverts have (I don't think Adverts get involved).

    It's under warrenty and he will be sending the receipt he just told me, surely that's enough cover
