What age would you dose lambs at
also is it ok to dose lambs with closamectin injection or is it better to use a dose down the throat

I dose at 8 weeks with a drench. Had a bad experience of using closamectin on ewe lambs a few years back, 2 died as a result of the high toxicity of closamectin, although they were given the appropriate dosage rate as recommended on the label.

    What age are the lambs?

I never used closamectin, but it seems to be for both fluke and worms? If the lambs are small then a cheap white dose would do the job would it?

I dose ours here at around 8 weeks (ish) as well, with a panacur type dose (got some cheap brand last year with a very short withdrawal, will have a look see what it is)

most of the earlies won't be dosed,

mid season and late usually about 10 weeks (or when time allows)

this year we will be using Arrest drench ( €80 for 5 ltrs.)
