Baxi Duo Tec Combi 33 HE

Recently bought a house with one of these installed "Baxi Duo Tec Combi 33 he".
It has two temperature dials, one for heating and one water, it also has a bar-pressure gauge which stays within the "1" green range.
There's no tank in the attic nor in the airing press.

    Problems:
The water in the ensuite shower, after about 5 minutes use, stops completely.
It comes back on after a couple of minutes but is very sporadic and sometimes stops again.

The bath, cold water, barley trickles out and eventually stops.
Get this, if I turn on the hot tap fully for a few seconds, then turn it down a couple of notches, we get cold water - and that's how we are managing to bath our kids - it takes ages to get the water temperature right for them.

No issues with hot / cold water downstairs.

Any ideas / advice as we are seriously considering having an electric shower fitted in the ensuite - and don't want to be putting up with crap water temperature issues in the bathroom.
One other thing, seems the water flow to the bathroom toilet is run from the hot water pipe???
    Spare me!!!

well if you dont have a tank in attic it sounds like your combi is straight onto the incoming mains.which is a bad install and against regs too.

    This is what the previous owner of the house has said about the attic tank;

We removed it when we installed the boiler.
A boiler like this needs more pressure than a water tank can provide, especially since it can consume more water than fits in the tank.
So it uses water straight from the mains.
This was only possible because the water pressure in the estate is very good.

So, what do we do to have a perfectly running (shower in the ensuite) & (bath).

Can the existing boiler / plumbing be tweaked or are we looking at replacing the boiler and fitting a tank in the attic & airing press??

You need to get a plumber / RGI who understands combi boilers and their water flow rate and pressure requirements and who can determine where the problem lies.

    Update:

Decided not to get quotes as I resolved the problem, for the moment, myself.

In the hotpress - where there's usually a hot tank - I closed the only valve in there, and the shower / bath is now ok
