I've been looking for an automatic car for a week or two and have been looking at the focus. They don't look too bad.. Just wondering does anyone drive one I'm here and would they recommend it?

Have you a link to the car in question.

I'm currently driving an Automatic Focus and it's horrible compared to my Automatic Golf. It's hard to explain but it's like it never really knows what gear it should be in at times or what gear it should be in next or like it's trying to catch up. The auto gearbox on my DSG Golf is a work of art, it's so smooth and accurate compared to it. The Focus also looks and feels a bit cheap compared to it, it's tinny and rattly, despite having only 5000 miles on the clock.

Smallest Focus automatic is 1.6 litre petrol.
